After serving with the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders, he immigrated to Canada, with his bride to be, in 1950. A Celebration of Hugh’s Life will be held at 11:00am, on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Red Deer Lake United Church, located on the South side of Calgary, on Highway 22X (Spruce Meadows Trail, approximately 1 km west of 37 Street).
