KELLNER, Adolf John (Jack)

December 16, 1919 – February 8, 2013

It is with sadness that the family of Jack Kellner announces his peaceful passing on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the age of 93.

Jack was a man with vision. Born in Gerald, SK, he had a full and active life. After a stint in the army and working with Greyhound in Whitehorse he embarked on a lifelong career in the trucking industry. As an entrepreneur, he pursed his businesses starting with Atomic Transport, Bicknell Freighters and Kelli Pops. Thoroughbred racing was a lifelong passion and he loved going to the races. Through K&K Stables, he raised and raced horses. He also had an active hand in designing horse trailers and shipping horses in Canada and the USA. Jack loved his family, friends and life.

Jack is survived by his children, Faye (Barry) and Kurt (Jackie); daughter-in-law Shirley; grandchildren, Karl (Crista), Tami (Kevin), Loni (Paul), Todd (Aleesha), Katie, Kris and Kam; and three great-grandchildren, Kayden, Taya and Hunter. He will be missed by Arnie and Lynn and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-six years Millie; son Ken; daughter-in-law Ivy; and by a brother and two sisters.
