It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deanne May Kartz (nee Price) on Tuesday May 28, 2013 at the age of 65 years.
Deanne was born on February 25, 1948 and grew up on the family farm just east of Black Diamond, one of seven girls. After leaving home, she lived and worked in Calgary for many years, before retiring due to illness. Deanne was very proud of her sons, Derrill and Marcus, and more recently of her grandchildren, Kaden and Cruze, who were the apple of their Granny’s eye! She is also survived by five sisters, Darlene (Bruce) Wright, Doreen Louth, Dorothy Thebeau, Della Keim, Dixie (Bob) Robb; brother-in-law Jim Tooker; numerous nieces and nephews; and by her special friends Jackie, Melvin, Lori, Patti, and Heather.
Deanne was predeceased by her beloved Calvin Brown, her parents, Molly and Ted Price; her sister Donna Tooker; niece Melanie Thebeau; and by her brother-in-laws, Bob Keim and Ted Louth.
