  2. Rick and Norma Lippa :

Vi and family: we want you to know how shocked and saddened we are to hear of George’s passing. Rick was such a close friend of George’s, growing up in Osoyoos, as were so many others. He was a popular fellow. His parents were familiar faces at the Lippa’s as well. We offer our sincere sympathy at this difficult time.

  9. Lloyd Kirilenko :

    Violet,
I was very saddened to hear about George’s passing and have a hard time believing he’s gone. I just celebrated my 71st birthday a couple of months ago, and know that George would have wanted to celebrate his 71st. Over the past two weeks I have thought about many of the good times and the many moments of laughter that I and the others who worked with George had. Moments that will not be forgotten.
I’ll raise a glass in his memory on April 29th.
Our thoughts and sympathy are with you.
    Lloyd and Gwen Kirilenko

    Vi,
So surprised and saddened to hear of George’s passing; so much too soon. Hadn’t seen him for a few years now but remember spending many good times with him before I left Calgary and when we were ‘kids’ growing up in Osoyoos. My deepest sympathy Vi.
