  3. Please accept my sincere sympathy to Albert and your family losing Helen. I was working at McKenzieTowne Care Centre last week and I knew that Helen was not so good. Your faithful Dad made numerous trips each day over to 1200 court to see her. He will be lost. I am glad that I knew your Mum when she was at the retirement center and came every day with the doggie to visit Albert. What a lovely lady.

  6. We have so many happy memories of Helen when she visited Marina and Tom in Toronto. She had the same mischievous sense of humour as Marina, except in spades! We feel privileged to have known her.

  8. Tracey Pasrik (nee Gellatly) :

My thoughts go out to Uncle Albert and the family. I wanted to send a personal message as Aunt Helen became so important to me and my family. When I first meet her, I was about 7 I knew we would be instant friends for life. Here is a letter just to her.

    Dear Aunt Helen,

I can’t begin to tell how much I will miss you. Especially that my girls will never experience the love and power you gave to me. Whenever life was getting me down, I knew I could come out to Calgary for a visit and automatically come back to Ontario a new person ready to face the world because we stayed up all night talking. Everything from boyfriend, now husband issues to becoming a daughter-in-law and a mother. You always had the right answers for me. Thank You to you and Uncle Albert for becoming my parent’s best friends. My parents idolized both you and Uncle Albert. I know my Dad and you are having a great time up there. Laughing over “the Drink”.
I love you like a mother and will cherish and keep our memories dear to my heart forever.
    Good-Bye Aunt Helen,
    Love Tracey
