Joynt, James Patrick

It is with great sadness that we announce that James Patrick Joynt passed away suddenly in Calgary on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the age of 49 years.

James graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and was a Certified Management Accountant. Employed in the oil and gas industry since graduation, James worked with Devon Canada. A creative and sensitive soul, James had a love and passion for music as an accomplished guitarist and lutist. His generosity of spirit touched all of those who knew him.

James will be lovingly remembered by his son Christopher; mother Nadia Alexandra; brothers Clifford, Dale and Real; and by all of his extended family.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

    So sad to hear the news. The few years I knew you at Anderson and thereafter at Devon made me believe in you as a great person and remains that way even now. We still have a picture of you holding my new born son at Devon in 2002. You are missed but never forgotten. However, we’ll someday meet again in God’s heaven above.
