    Dear Eileen and Nicole,
I just got back from vacation and saw that Dale had passed away on Oct 15. I am so sorry to hear that as he was always a very kind man. As you know, Dale’s path and mine crossed way before McLean & Parnters. I can remember going out for lunch with him many times back in the Texaco days. Even then he always impressed me with his athleticism and calm, thoughtful demeanor. Wishing you strength through this difficult time
    Best,
    Patti Shannon

    Dear Eileen and family,
We are so very sorry to hear about Dale! We haven’t seen either of you recently, but we have some great memories of times at the wine club, and especially when we were both on the executive. He was a very pleasant and interesting (and apparently VERY accomplished) fellow.
Best regards, Mary & Peter Mooney

Please accept our deepest condolences. Both Ellen and I were very sad to hear of Dale’s passing. As you know, most of our encounters with Dale were in and around our beautiful backyards and the lane-way we shared as neighbours. I was saddened to hear of Dale’s passing. I only knew Dale for a couple of years – we met through the Esso Annuitants Hiking Club. On my very first hike w/ the Esso group, Dale saved the day for me, when I forgot hiking sox & Dale was able to provide me a spare pair from his pack. We walked together in the mountains on a number of occasions – Dale obviously loved to be out there. He will be missed.
