Dear Carol, Lloyd, Cora, Patsy & Alan,

I loved Mom and I will miss her. I can’t help but not think about her as we get ready for the planting season. She loved her garden. I will never forget that time that she was over at our place, helping to plant the flowers. She was digging in the dirt & she found an earthworm. She just could not help herself …… she flipped that earthworm in my direction …… I screamed ……. she laughed. I can still hear her laughter. She made the BEST fried chicken in the world. I have so many wonderful memories of her that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Lloyd, I just want to thank you for letting me know that Mom was in the hospital so that I could spend some time with her. I am eternally grateful for your thoughtfulness.
