It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lottie early on Sunday April 21, 2013 at the age of 94 years.
Lottie was born in Winchburgh, Scotland. She served in the RAF during World War II and was a nanny for a Lord of Britain. She came to Canada in December 1953 with her two sons David and Ray and her father-in-law William to join her husband Alfred who had arrived earlier.
Lottie is survived by her two sons David and Ray ( Wendy) ; three grandchildren , Michelle ( Gerat) Patterson, Marci ( Ray) Jabrica and Scott (Kathy) Jones; seven great-grandchildren, Colten, Kyleigh, Austin, Matthew, Brandon, Darien and Kaden. She is also survived by her sister Molly of Doncaster, England; and numerous nieces and nephews in England, Scotland and Ontario.
Lottie was predeceased by her beloved husband Alf in January 2002; her brothers Bill, George and Jim; and sister Elsie.
Funeral services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness (2900- 14 Avenue N.E.) on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family would like to thank the Carewest George Boyak Nursing Home for their loving care and support in the short time Lottie was there.
