October 18, 1932 – December 22, 2009

Helen Jeeves, beloved wife of David Jeeves of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the age of 77 years.

Helen was born and raised in Winnipeg where she lived until 1971. She moved to Calgary with her family and embarked on a wonderful career at the Palliser Hotel as executive secretary to the general manager. At the Palliser she made many friends and retired after twenty-five happy years. Besides her loving husband David of thirty-nine years, she leaves to grieve her daughters, Barbara (Brian), Sandra (Randal), and Marjorie (Bill). She will also be missed by her sister Yvonne Worden and brother Malcolm McLachlan, along with numerous nephews and nieces. 7. Carol Ann Huszti :

Dear Barb, Brian, Sandra, Marjorie and of course David and the rest of the family. It is with the deepest sympathy that I send my condolences for the loss of your wife and Mother. Helen was such a wonderful person with so much to share with everyone. I always admired her. She really made a huge impression on me in my early 20’s. Helen was the perfect example of the “modern women”. She was a good mother, a wonderful wife and had a sucsessful career. I am sure she will be missed by so many people. My prayers are with you all at this time. I hope, as a family, you find inner peace in all the precious memories of the great times you all shared with Helen. As a family remember this: “Lifes’ receding sunsets are always followed by the sunrises of the future”. So try to reflect on the brighter days of the past and find the inner strength to look forward to a future vested in joy, laughter and understanding. Love to you all, my thoughts are with you. May Helen Rest in Peace now and for all eternity.
    Carol Ann Huszti
