Allen Jacobsen, beloved husband of Carole of Calgary, peacefully passed away, surrounded by loving family and friends on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the age of 64 years.
Allen is survived by his wife Carole; his daughter Debbie (Alfie) Nash; his son Derek (Rhonda) Jacobsen; and his granddaughter Bevin Nash. He is also survived by brothers, Ken (Wendy) and Ron (Debra) of Winnipeg; three sisters-in-law, Elaine (Garry) Gratzki of Thunder Bay, Susan Baxter (Tom Luck) of Oakville, and Diane (Jim) Waddell of Vancouver; and brother-in-law Douglas (Louise) Baxter of Abbotsford; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Allen was predeceased by his parents Walter and Marjorie of Winnipeg.
In honour of Allen, there will be an open house held at the residence of Jerry and Wendy Anderson (263236 Range Road 293, Rocky View County, 2 miles north of Cross Iron Mills) on Saturday, May 12, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Martins in the Field in Winnipeg at a later date in June. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
