October 7, 1931 – October 2, 2009
Lorraine Jack of Calgary passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the age of 77 years.
She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she met her husband
Bob before ultimately moving to Ontario, France, Alberta and British Columbia. Lorraine built an envious career in banking, starting at the age of 14 years and spanning a time frame of over fifty years. In the latter years of her life, Lorraine devoted her attention to assisting many needy families and individuals each year, especially those forgotten and lonely elderly who gave so much of themselves to this country, and are now without adequate support and are to proud to ask for it.
Lorraine will be most remembered for her compassion and generosity towards those in need. It was her sincere hope that the rest of us will continue to carry on with her charitable work.
She was sadly predeceased by her one true love, Bob in 2002 and now eagerly goes to join him in the hereafter. Lorraine is survived by her son Robert, daughter-in-law Maxine, and three grandchildren, Kirsten, Tiffany and Jordan. Lorraine is also survived by three of her five siblings, Beverly, Judy and Ron.
A Private family Service was held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
