Condolence Messages

  1. It was very sad news to hear of Lyle’s passing. All though I have not seen him for a few years I did get the pleasure of spending some lengthy days in the boat with Lyle trying to hunt down a Salmon on the West coast. He was always full of stories that got a good chuckle. Some occasions you heard the same story 2 days in a row but it was just as good the second time. He had the gift to be able to hold a conversation with anyone from any background. He also was the only one that could give Hank direction and he would listen. That is a huge talent. (other than Carol of course) Lyle will be missed by many and remembered by all that he has touched over the years. May he Rest in Peace.

  2. Debbi Courtright :

Very sad news to hear of Lyall’s passing. He was a dear and very close friend and the best neighbor out at Bragg Creek. He and Hazel were the best. He could tell stories, couldn’t he? He had the biggest heart too and would do anything for you.

    You will be missed

  4. Campion Swartout :

    Dear Wes & Rita,
I am so sorry for your loss. Great Uncle Lyall was very special to me and my family. He was so sweet and kind. Ever since I can remember he always made me feel very special and loved. I was very fortunate to spend so much time with both Lyall and Hazel over the years and have so many wonderful memories of them. Lyall was always happy and upbeat when I was with him and he always had wonderful stories to tell. I will greatly miss getting to spend time with him and hearing his stories and looking at all his photos. He had a full and wonderful life. I will dearly miss his handsome smile and twinkle in his eye. He will forever be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to you both and your family. Love Campion
