HYRICH, Muriel Elizabeth “Beth” (nee Horn)

April 18, 1933 – Virden, Manitoba
August 26, 2013 – Calgary, Alberta

Beth Hyrich, beloved wife and best friend of Fred Hyrich of Calgary, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the age of 80 years

Beth was born and raised in Virden, MB. She met Fred in Belmont, MB and married him August 4, 1956 in Virden, MB. She was employed with the Royal Bank for thirty-three years. Beth and Fred wintered in Mesa, AZ for twenty-three years.

Beth is survived by her loving husband Fred; one brother Gerald (Judy) Horn; three sisters-in-law, Elaine Horn, Ann (Ray) Drabble, and Jean Hyrich; brother-in-law Dan (Rita) Hyrich; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Reid and Muriel Horn; one brother Ken Horn; three brothers-in-law, Steve, Jack and John Hyrich; and two sisters-in-law, Jessie Hyrich and Ruth Hyrich.

Starting up the Corporate Security Department, as a new employee of RBC, Beth taught me many of the “ins and outs” of working for the bank. She helped make my job easier and meaningful. She will always be remembered for her professionalism and smile.
