HUNTER, Murray Campbell

It is with great sadness that our Creator called our dad home peacefully in his sleep on December 18, 2012 at the age of 79 years.

Murray was raised and educated in Morley. In his early young life he was into rodeo, as a saddle bronc rider. He was entered into wild horse racing in the early 1950’s with Wilfred Fox. Murray was invited to Hollywood to act as a second for Tonto, after making the movie “The River of No Return Saskatchewan Crossing” with Marilyn Monroe. He was willing to go until his father didn’t allow him in 1953.

He leaves to mourn his children Rufus (Roxanne), Angelene (Carlos), Retha, Haylee, Haven, Daisey, Wanda (Duane), and Tommy; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild Breall; one sister Eva Labelle; nephews Ricky (Tricia), Marty (Linda), Jarrod (Ann), Gerald (Jenny), Floyd, Preston (Shelly), and Randall (Sandra); nieces Linda (Irvin), Brenda (Glenn), Mable, Marlene, Creta, and Adele; cousins Wilfred, David, Vera, Norma, Doreen, Doris, and Debbie. We apologize if we have missed anyone.
