  2. Debbie Ritchie :

I am writing on behalf of my mother, Margaret Breese. Her words are below.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. I met Sylvia through the Alberta War Brides and always looked forward to her cheery phone calls and news. She will be missed by all of her war bride friends.

I am sorry that I will not be able to be there on Sunday. I will be traveling to London, on Wednesday, to see my family there, one more time. Please know that I am thinking of you.

    Margaret Breese

  3. Gail Whiteford :

My mother loved Sylvia and at the War Brides luncheons she always sat beside her to chat. The times I met Sylvia I was always impressed by her smile and her laugh. Having lost my mother, Phyllis, earlier this year. I know that this will be hard on you, but know you will remember her with love.
    Gail Whiteford, for Phyllis Whiteford
