HUNT, Alice Agnes (nee McQuaid)
September 13, 1921 – December 23, 2011
Alice Agnes Hunt passed away peacefully on December 23, 2011 at the age of 90.
Alice was born September 13, 1921 in Miscouche, PEI. She moved to Calgary, where she met Gerry her loving husband of 24 wonderful years. Alice was an active member of the CWL, St. Gerard’s Parish and worked at the Bay for 18 years. She enjoyed a lifetime of friendships with her parish, Bay girls, and Bridge club. Alice was a kind, loving mother, and a generous person who touched the hearts of many.
She is survived by her children Bob (Maggie) Hunt, Dan Hunt, Debbie Hunt, Nancy (Leon) Bodrug, Margie (Larry) Wheeler. Ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her sister Peggy Spilsbury and sisters-in-law, Joan, Mary and Theresa McQuaid. She is also lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Gerry, parents Adelaide and John and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 am.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Aunty Alice was an amazing woman who took time to notice the little things and enjoy life. I’ll never forget watching the NHL playoffs with her when she was here visiting us and Theo scored that amazing goal! Aunty Alice will always be lovingly remembered by all of those who knew her.
