I worked with George at Gardiner Watson in the mid 1980’s. Everyone in the investment business thinks they’re smart. George really was. He could read a 200 page prospectus in minutes and get at the critical issues within 10 minutes. He was decisive and once he made up his mind there was never any change in his thinking. He was a strong personality but he was always kind to me. I would like to attend the funeral, if the family is comfortable with that

We were neighbors of George and Elaine at Laura’s Villas. We enjoyed our visits with George while he sat outside his condo on a bench enjoying the sunshine. We loved listening to his stories and also him keeping us up to date on everything stock related. He was a wonderful man. Our deepest sympathies to Elaine and the family.
