Margaret Rose Hrico, beloved wife, partner and best friend of Eugen Hrico, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the age of 72 years.
Margaret was born one of eight children to Rufus and Lucy Sandford. Margaret was the younger sister to Ellen McKay (Al), Ruth Kerr (Doug), Harold Sandford, Herb Sandford and Walter Sandford (Fran). Margaret was also the older sister to twin brothers, Bob Sandford (Vi) and Donald Sandford (Rebecca). Margaret had a great love of family, friends and her children, Sandy-Lou Carlson (Robert), Troy Carlson (Angela), grandchildren, Glenn and Calais and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret enjoyed camping, travelling and the annual Christmas Eve celebration at her home. Margaret retired from CP Rail in 2004 after twenty-five years of service. Despite declining health Margaret faced life with determination and a wonderful sense of humour that will be remembered by all who knew her. Mom has been a fine Matriarch who truly blessed us with gifts of heartfelt love, sharing and kindness. She will be deeply missed by family and friends
