It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother, uncle and friend Charles “Edgar” Howes on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the age of 79 years.
Edgar grew up around the Cochrane area; he was a very special person and was always there to lend a helping hand. He will be deeply missed by us all.
He is survived by his brothers Art (Valerie), Gordon (Ellie) Howes; sisters May Sauvey, Margaret Clarke, Emma Pepper, Pearl (Norman) Hopkins, Marie (Allan) Briscoe, Agnes (Gordon) Nelson; and sisters-in-law Louise and Diane Howes as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edgar was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Eva; his brothers and sisters-in-law Jim and Olive, Bud and Diane, Oscar, Earl and Alfred Howes; sister and brother-in-law Ann and Ken Raby; brothers-in-law Albert Sauvey, Albert Clarke and Peter Pepper.
