Howe, Leona Evelyn Grace of Strathmore, passed away at the Sagewood Seniors Community on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the age of 85 years.

Leona was born in Edmonton Alberta on September 24, 1926.

She is survived by her son Don Howe and daughter-in-law Julie, three grandchildren David (Whitney), Cheryl (Aaron) and Michelle; five great-grandchildren Noah, Kaleb, Grace, Isabelle and Logan. She is also survived by her sister Flo Zornes and sister-in-law Gladys Preece.

Leona was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Howe, her parents Harry and Grace Preece and by her brothers Edward Preece, Ralph Preece and Wilbert Preece

Funeral Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home(17 Ave. S.E. at Garden Road, 1515 100 Street SE) on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
