Condolence Messages

  1. Lisa Walpole :

    Laura, David;
    My deepest, heartfelt condolences. Your mother was an amazing woman with the kindness and caring of angels. I will forever remember the open door of the family home, and a cookie from a bag of whatever sounded interesting at the store.
    My thoughts are with you.

  2. Beth and Vern Nelson :

    Dear Laura May and David. We were your neighbours in Capital Hill. I also went to Crescent Heights when your Mom taught. She was a great lady. Loved her as a teacher, a friend and a cook. I still use her receipe for leek and potato soup. We recall, fondly, the days when she used to help us out with “a cup of sugar” and she would come over and check a dish that I was cooking.
    I know you will miss her and I hope the love and strength of your family will help you through these troubled times.
    Beth and Vern Nelson and family……..

    Margery and I became friends when I attended St. Andrew’s Anglican Church and remains in my prayers. She knew my niece June at Crescent Heights so we had a nice connection. She was a lovely friendly lady and I want to wish the family sincere condolences. I am glad we had a group picture taken because I can remember what she looked like. Pauline

    Laura Mae and David– I was so sorry to be away from Calgary at the time of your mother’s passing but very thankful to have had a moment with her at church the previous Sunday. She was a very special lady whose caring help with Heather’s reentry into the Calgary French program will always be appreciated by our family. I will miss her wonderful smile and spirit in the back pew at St. Andrew’s. Cherish your memories and know that she made a difference in the lives of many.
