HOOK, Gordon William

July 13, 1928 – June 12, 2012

It is with profound sadness but many cherished memories we say good bye to Gordon William Hook on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the age of 83 years.

Gordon was born in Lipton, Saskatchewan.

He is survived by his wife Doreen; sons Terry (Terry) of Regina SK and Don (Marta) of Calgary AB; grandchildren, Jason (Karla), Charlie (Jacquie); great-grandchildren, Tyler, David, James and Thomas; extended family, Ken (Debbie) Hook of Fort McMurray, AB, Evelyn Williams of Port McNeil, BC, Jan Duke of Lethbridge, AB; sister Evelyn Fleming of Fort Qu’Appelle, SK; brother Frank (Norma) Hook of Vancouver, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Grace and Charles Hook; sisters Mary Todd, Anne Perkins; brother John Hook and grandson Jeffrey Hook.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.     So sorry to read of Gordon’s passing. I met Gord many years ago when I lived in Lipton and again in Regina. I am from Dysart many years ago. He was a very nice person to know and he will be missed, but he is with the Lord waiting for us to join him in eternal life.

    Hello Doreen – I was sorry to read of Gordon’s passing and remembered all the good times we had together here in Regina. You may not know, but I lost Arnold when we were on a casino bus trip to North Dakota when he had a massive heart attack and died right away 2 months ago today. It has been a very hard time for me. But I certainly want to send condolences to you for your loss of Gordon. My daughter Susan also sends her sympathy. Take Care.
