  2. Madeleine & Don McPherson :

    I too worked for Shell for many years and it is all because of your Dad. He gave me my very first job at Shell and although I was well qualified for the job, I’m sure it was because of my family connections from Cluny that I was chosen. He will always get credit in my heart for my career. Our sincere sympathies to all of you on this great loss.

  7. To the Holt family;

    Please accept my sympathies on the passing of your father.

    I was introduced to your Dad by a mutual friend, Ken Newans and although I didn’t know Bill for a long period, the three of us did spend quality time on the golf course, socializing and watching the odd football game. In fact, my wife and I were pleased to host Bill, Ken and Mae for last year’s Grey Cup. It was a good party.

    I will remember your Dad as a first rate gentleman who demonstrated a sense of refinement in manner and disposition.

    May he rest in peace.
