  1. Janis Giroux :

I was always amazed at Jean’s knowledge and expertise with ceramics. As a “newbie,” I only spent 11 years in the basement of her home receiving her instruction and patience. I was always determined to do the eyes myself yet often acquiesced to Jean. Despite her being over 30 years my senior, her hand was far more steady and sure than mine. She was a generous person, often sharing her wealth with me, knowing that I had young children at home. I appreciate having a calm, relaxing place to go on Tuesday nights and being welcomed into the group which has been attending for over 30 years.

  3. It is with deep sadness that I read of Jean’s passing. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. She always made me feel so welcome in your home growing up, I guess it was my second home for a lot of years. I’ll always have the memories.
