HODGE, Freda Mirriam
July 13, 1919 – December 28, 2011
Freda Hodge of Calgary, passed away on December 28, 2011 at the age of 92 years.
Freda was a British war bride, immigrating to Canada in 1946. She was married to Major John E. Hodge. She enjoyed travelling, theatre and was an avid bridge player (Bridgemaster). The legacy she left to her children was to learn and explore the history of the communities they resided in Canada and abroad.
Freda is survived by two daughters and son-in-law Sandra Franke ( Christopher) , Christina Hodge; four grandsons Karl, Erik, John and Nigel; seven great-grandchildren Mitchell, Nicholas, Curtis, Thomas, Jordan, Natasha and Tara. Freda was predeceased by her husband John.
