Condolence Messages

  1. Don and Barbara Raiselis :

    To the Hinz family,
The shock of hearing of dear Cathy’s passing brings such sorrow to Don and me.
She was such a cheerful, caring person to us all the time we lived in the desert, and
our memories of our fun times will live in our hearts and minds. Cathy was so
influential in developing my love of needlepoint, and also trying new recipes. Her
cooking art was something she enjoyed sharing with others all the time.
Our thoughts are with all of you as you try to get a handle of her not being with you.
Now you have all the wonderful memories to fill your minds, so she will continue to
    be with you each day.
God be with you as your pray each day for her and for yourselves as you move forward, and we will be doing the same as we remember what a treasure Cathy was
    for us too.
Cathy loved sharing her pix and stories of all of you, and of the fun she had being
a grandmother. Keeping her memory alive for them will be up to all of you now.
God bless you and our love to you all; know we are thinking of you during this hard time.

  3. I had the pleasure of spending quality time with Gramma Cathy on a few occasions while we co-babysat our first grandchildren; Emily and Elliot.
Cathy was a caring, generous and loving Mother and Grandmother, filled with pride for her entire family, and especially for her Grandchildren Emily and Jonathan.
She enjoyed sharing pictures of her wonderful family, and her gorgeous knitting, crochet, and needlework. The darling sweaters and outfits she crafted for her grandchildren were truly a labor of love. Her memory will live on for her young and unborn Granchildren through her family, and through those of us who had the privilege of spending time with her.
    Rest in Peace dear Cathy.
You are loved and will be missed by many.

  4. Hello Kevin, its been a very long time and its so sad that we finally connect again under these circumstances. Although we haven’t seen you for many, many years and really don’t know your family, we just want to let you know how very sorry we are to hear about the loss of Cathy. We know that this sudden and unexpected passing makes it even harder to understand and more difficult to accept. We just hope that remembering the wonderful years you two spent together and the ongoing blessing of the two children you brought to this world, and your grand kids, will make your loss less difficult to accept. We will be thinking of you tomorrow and trusting that Cathy is now at peace.

  8. Dear Hinz Family,

Cathy and I were managers at AGT (as mentioned in the family tribute). Her ‘office’ was beside mine. I regarded her as a role model: funny, wry, smart, even-tempered but also an exacting taskmaster. She was a wonderful colleague. She ‘retired’ about the time Andrea was born, and we lost touch. Andrea and Laura: your mom was a wonderful person, and I admired her greatly.

    My deepest sympathies,

    Catrin Coe
