A sad time for you all. As you lay your mom to rest we pray it brings you comfort that she will be greeted by your Dad and sweet Leanne. 7. I met Barbara about 20 years ago at the L.A. Legion #285. Her smile and friendly ways were magnetic. She always had a few words to say to everyone. She was chosen as a white hatter for good reason. Barbara, you will be missed, may you rest in peace, and may your family find comfort in fond memories.

  8. Janice Andersen :

Rest in peace Barbara. Barb was a great woman. She was one of the founding members of the Calgary White Hatters at the Calgary Airport and was so proud to be a “White Hatter” for over 18 years. We apologize for missing her “Celebration of Life” but only recently were made aware of her passing. I’m sure she is wearing her white hat in heaven and assisting everyone.

I was saddened to hear the news about my dear friend Barbara whom I met at Horton Legion Branch 285. We had many laughs; and she would often bring sweets to share. I will remember her with great fondness. A kind and beautiful person, with impeccable style she loved to shop, she was like a breath of fresh air every time I saw her and my heart aches with yours upon hearing of her passing.
