Condolence Messages

  1. I always appreciated Mr. Hill’s smiles and laughter but it was his serenity that has stuck with me as something I have always aspired to. Mr. Hill was my second father and I appreciated his many unspoken gestures. Thank you.

  7. Michael and Karen Rehman :

    Linda, David, Alan, and Shari,

My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your husband and father. He was a great man. I’ll always remember Steve (a.k.a. Mr. Hill) as a positive, jovial person; a God fearing and honourable man. Mr. Hill had faith in us neighbourhood kids not to destroy anything, whether it was building forts out of scrap materials, driving old motorbikes, or hunting gophers. He always taught me to look at the brighter side of life. May God give you peace and strength during this difficult time. With love, Michael and Karen Rehman, Falls Church, VA

  8. My sincere condolences to Linda and the family. Steve will be sadly missed at his Monday, Wednesday and Friday ritual at McDonald’s after Dialysis by his buddy Bob and myself. I will miss the long talks he would share on life in general and his words of admiration for you Linda as well as his family. He asked many times if I would join in at a weekend church service but my travels did not seem to allow that to connect though had intended to sometime along the way. I was sad to hear of his passing as the three of us had planned to meet for lunch and I ended up out of town instead for a number of weeks prior to his passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with you .
