Judy Heward passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the age of 59 years. Judy was born in Granum, Alberta and lived in Lethbridge and Red Deer before moving to Calgary in 1988. Judy was a very loving and caring person with a strong spirit and a wonderful sense of humour. She loved children, animals and dancing to country music. Judy survived many adversities in her life and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a great teacher and friend and we are all better for having had her in our lives. Judy will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her two sisters, Bonnie (Warren) Pacaud of Calgary and Briana Howard of Florida; two nephews, Phil (Haley) Pacaud and Brad Pacaud; a great niece Charley Pacaud; and a great nephew Caden Pacaud; as well as dear friends, Melodie Hawley and Ray Smith, Kade and Kennedie Smith and Edina, Orhan, Admir, and Haris Mehmedovic. She was predeceased by her mother, Alice Heward and father, William Carl Heward. A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in Taber Cemetery.
