Condolence Messages

  1. I worked with Amy at Uniglobe for the past 2 years and had the wonderful pleasure of meeting her in person in Vancouver last April. She was a wonderful energetic bubbly person with so many gifts. We talked a great deal about her kids who she treasured. I am heart broken at her sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this difficult time. My sincere condolences. Tracy

Amy was, by far, the greatest friend I have ever had. There is a hole in my heart that will never be filled. My heart goes out to her two children, Jaqui and Benny – you will grow up knowing that your Mom loved you more than anything and was a BEAUTIFUL soul. My heart goes out to Henri, her baby’s father – who has lost the mother of his children, who has now been given the task of raising their children without her, and carrying on her legacy with them. My heart goes out to her family – Mom, Dad, step father, sisters and families, cousins, uncles, etc…. family was so important to Amy.
And last but not least, Amy’s chosen family – her friends. Amy was MY chosen family. She came into my life and changed me forever.

We are all aching, and lost, and sad, and angry, and in utter disbelief. And we will all pool together to support each other through this. That is what Amy would have wanted. <3

I met Amy when we worked in Chinook Mall, she worked the watch kiosk and I worked in a Candy store. We became fast friends and started working at Discount Travel Warehouse together. We had a lot of good times, but life and family pulled us apart. I was glad in the last year or so to have connected with her again. I am shocked at how quickly she was just gone. My prayers are with those left behind that God would grant you comfort and strength during this time. Amy was special and will be missed.

Don’t think of her as gone away,
    Her journey’s just begun.
    Life holds so many facets-
    This earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing
    That we could know today,
    How nothing but our sadness
    Can really pass away.
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched…
For nothing loved is ever lost,
And she was loved so much!

  21. Virginia , Beth and Danette and Garry…. I am so stunned and shocked at the news of your loss of your sister and daughter Amy. I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy to all of you and your families. Please give the biggest hugs possible to Jaquelyn and Benson from me. I find myself reaching for words to offer you and end up with another wonderful memory of Amy right before my eyes. She had a grin that blended into a smile; an eternal politeness that built countless friendships: an everlasting sincerity that expressed her love and commitment to all her family and friends. Regardless of the circumstance she would offer assistance and kindness to all and led by such a fine example of which you can be so proud. She no doubt shared her love and was deeply loved by all. She will be missed but definitely not forgotten.

May your memories of Amy (Little Aimer) set your own grin to a smile. Let her example of strength give each of you the strength you need to at this time. May her love for all her family help you through this troubled time together. A little piece of Amy is with each of us and I wish to join the members of all our families and Amy’s friends, families and support team to help you find the comfort and support to be strong and together through this time, so you can remember and smile once again sharing and cherishing your memories of your wonderful sister and daughter and outstanding mother of her children.

    Peace be with you all
    Love, Ken
