HENRY, Elmer Alan Jr.

June 7, 1952 – Winnipeg, Manitoba
January 19, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta

Elmer Henry of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the age of 62 years with his special caregivers Sherry and Peter by his side.

Elmer was a charming, kind and charismatic person who had a passion for many things including Stampeders football, Flames hockey, wrestling, bowling, and Elvis. He taught us so much about life and unconditional love and he will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. We love you Toots! Rest in peace.

Elmer is survived by his eight siblings, Wayne (Dale), David Strattford (Loraine), Robin (Valerie), Tim (Lucy), Sherry (Peter Griffin), Joanne Schneider (Frank), Michael, Patrick and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Elmer and Harriette and his sister Carolynn.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Elmer’s name directly to the Alberta Association for Community Living. Thank you to the many friends and many, many “girlfriends” at Garrison Green for bringing joy into Elmer’s life.
