All of us who had a chance to know Bob and love him will miss him – I have fond memories of playing on the crescent and years of camping where Bob was always willing to take the time to spend with us kids, whether it was to admire the snakes we caught that day or helping us fish!! My deepest condolences to Gerry, Lori and Scott

  3. Graeme & Ivana Broatch :

Our deepest sympathy and sorrow to Gerry, Lori, and Scott. My memories are of a man, strong in character and dry in wit. I still smile thinking of all the times I took him seriously; with his straight face and a twinkle in his eye. I hold these memories close, and a portion of Bob remains in all of us. Thank you Bob.

  4. Kirsten Jones and Family :

We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a remarkable, genuine man who I have such fond memories of from my childhood. Even as I write, I can hear his dastardly laugh and it makes me smile. He was so fun loving, clever and charming, such a pleasure to be around. My thoughts are with you Gerry, Lori and Scott. Bob was blessed to have such a wonderful family. Please take comfort in knowing he is so lovingly remembered.

  8. Heather Craig :

To Gerry, Lori and Scott – my sincere condolences to you and your families. I shall always remember “Mr Hennig” – such a straight face as I described all the bugs in the pond for my nature badge in Guides. I still think of that to this day everytime I go past that pond! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
