HENN, Francis Bertram “Frank”

July, 14, 1941 – Cabri, Saskatchewan
November 28, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce Frank Henn, beloved husband of Barb Henn of Calgary, AB, passed away after a lengthy illness and many a hard fought battle, on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the age of 73 years.

It is with great joy, however, that we will always have a lifetime of memories of a wonderful husband, father, POPA and friend. Frank’s personality touched many people and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was set in his ways to say the least and was as stubborn as they come, and we accepted and loved him for that. Frank was one of those people that if he could think it, he would say it. Frank never beat around the bush and you always knew where he stood.

Besides Barb, his loving wife of 52 years, Frank is survived by two sons Todd and Shawn (Becky), daughter Tracey (Kelly) and seven grandchildren, Aaron, Ayden, Riley, Brody, Jake, Kelauren and MeKenna. He is also survived by his brother Nevin (Doris) and their family.

Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, #204, 2323 – 32nd Avenue N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 6Z3 Telephone: (403) 266-0620, ext. 112, www.diabetes.ca. or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 – 14th Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 Telephone: (403) 264-5549, www.heartandstroke.ca.

In living memory of Frank Henn, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Crowfoot, 82 CROWFOOT CIRCLE N.W. Telephone: 403-241-0044.
