Condolence Messages

  1. Rob Zucchelli :

    I am sad to hear that Ron has passed away. Myself and my family offer condolences to you and your family. I started with TransAlta Telecom in 1986 in Lethbridge. Although I did not have many opportunities to work directly with Ron we did meet up at the occasional radio site in the south. I will always remember Ron as the “go to guy” that knew the telecom system inside out. We send our thoughts and prayers to you.

  3. Blair Stromstedt :

    Ron was meticulous in all he did. I worked with him and his attention to detail was beyond reproach. It was such a joy to see him serving in our church, as he used that same attention to detail in how he served others. He will be dearly missed, but now he is home. God bless you and your family.

  4. Gerry Sheilan :

    Jill and Family,
    Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Ron. We are unable to attend the funeral, but would like you to know that Ron was the number one trouble shooter at Highfield and that his expertise was used by all others. He was a most conscientious person that I was so fortunate to have in my Department. We wish you strength during this most difficult time of adjustment.
    Sincerely, Gerry & Doris Sheilan

    Dear Jill and Family;
    I was very sad to hear of Ron’s passing. I worked with Ron for many years at Calgary Power / TransAlta. We traveled together often and in the evening I can remember fishing, playing cards or just talking to him. He was my friend and I’m better for knowing him.
    Thanks, Terry and Colleen Roberts

  8. Dear Jill and Family

    Am so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing; he was such a great guy.

    Ron was truly an inspiration to all who knew him, especially co-workers. Had the pleasure of working on many, sometimes stessful, field projects with him over the years and no serious disagreements ever occured.
    Pretty good mechanic too.

    Thinking of you
    Pat and Gil
