  10. Bob, Kate & Jeff,
There are no words to express how saddened I am at the news of Brad’s passing. I still can’t believe it and have spent many hours in tears over the last few days. I cannot imagine what you’re going through right now. It truly makes my heart hurt to think about it.

I have so many memories of Brad over the years… his constant quoting of the “Foxy Lady” scene from Wayne’s World over the summer that he was (I think) 3 years old. Such a ladies man, right from the start! I remember one afternoon at the lake, Brad lying on the grass with a bunch of the older girls and very distinctly saying “let’s have a discussion, let’s have a little talk.” We all cracked up because, of course, he said it with that signature raised eyebrow and little smirk. I remember a 3 or 4 year old Brad announcing that I was his girlfriend and that someday we’d get married 🙂 If only I were so lucky!

I could go on and on with memories from our summers out at the lake. A time I’ve always cherished and will so even more now.

Over the past few years, I always enjoyed getting Brad’s texts and Facebook messages. He always made sure to ask how my family was doing and truly cared about everyone. Running into him and Jeff at hockey games was always fun. Loved catching up with my old friends from the lake 🙂

Brad was really an inspiration..despite some of the challenges he faced, he lived a life full of laughter and love. I will miss his smile. And, I will miss him.

I know there is nothing anyone can say to ease your sorrow, right now, but I hope it gives you some comfort to know how much love we all loved Brad. He will hold a special place in my heart forever.
