HEIMBECKER – John F. “Jack”

February 4, 1925 – August 21, 2011

Our beloved Jack passed away peacefully. He will be dearly missed by his wife Shirley, daughter Brenda, son Randy (Louise), and precious grandson Dana, his three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Jack was predeceased by his parents and three brothers. Jack was a hard working man and the ultimate Calgary sports fan. He loved life and loved to celebrate it.

In keeping with the manner in which he lived, please join us for a Celebration of Jack’s Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 264 (1910 Kensington Rd N.W.) on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Forward condolences through If desired donations in Jack’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta. The family wishes to thank the Neurology Dept at the Foothills Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

    Hey Jack I am sorry to have missed your celebration, I just got back from Phoenix golfing so I know you will understand. Thank you Jack for being a inspiration throughout your real estate career. I remember I had to work hard and Jack would just go golfing and not worry about the tough economy and bring back a deal. He brought back enough to win a trip to Hawaii and inspired me to do the same the following year at Block Bros Realty. My wife just asked me about Jack the day before and wondered what he was doing as we didnt see him at Southcenter for a while. Don’t worry Shirley he’s golfing every day now and probalby still inspiring.
