  8. Lynda Flannery :

    Dear Yvonne
I am saddened to hear that Lou has died and am sure that you are missing him so much.
I have missed seeing you, and its because I haven’t been in Calgary. Mom lives with me and has dementia, and I have not been able to leave her on her own for years now.
But I have thought of you two, and have keep a little in touch through DZ and Russ, who made sure I got the news about Lou.
Please accept my thoughts and prayers as you travel this difficult path of grief. With love to you and yours, Lynda

  10. Kristen Parker - Kinesiologist :

Lou will be greatly missed here at South Calgary Dialysis. He exercised on the bike for 20-30 min during his dialysis treatments with me and was my eldest “exercising” patient. He was such an inspiration to myself, the other patients and staff. If anyone thought they were too old to exercise, we stated that we had a 93-year-old doing it (so they had no excuse)! During one of our last workouts together in February 2012, he said the biking was “Awesome.” He always made us smile.
My thoughts and condolences go out to your family at this difficult time.
