Condolence Messages

  1. Wes, I was so sorry to hear about Joan’s passing. As you know I knew Joan for many years and always enjoyed her company — she really was a good and serious bridge player. Don’t know if you knew that both Joan and I were pregnant with our first at the same time. We first met in sorority — Beta Sigma Phi. I know you will miss her dearly, but always remember all the happy and wonderful times you both had together and with your family. Take care, Johanna Roskey

  3. Deanna & Steve Black :

It is with great sadness that we heard of Joan’s passing. We only knew Joan a short time as it was with the joining of our families through Kim and Stephens marriage that afforded us the opportunity to meet Joan. In the brief time we knew her she was a delight to talk with and we are grateful for the time we did have.
Know you are in our every thought and prayer as you go through this very difficult time.

    With Great Sympathy
Deanna & Steve Black & Family

    To the Hartman Family,
We would like to send you our sincere condolences at this time. Unfortunately, we can’t be there today. We had many happy times together in our early child – rearing days ! We have all been blessed in the years since although we lost track of each other in those busy years. May God bless you at this sad time with many happy memories.
    Sincerely,

  9. Michael A Komusi :

As her son Brian’s best friend, I spend a considerable amount of time getting into hot water with Mr. and Mrs Hartman…..but I have nothing but great memories of Mrs Hartman (calling her Joan doesn’t seem right to me). She was always understanding, kind, compassionate and full of life. I used to love the way she would laugh when I marched into their house and announced “I home MOM!!!”
Mrs. Hartman was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met…even when were were in trouble she was nice!!!
I remember her with a special fondness and love that I have only ever had for a few people in my life, and I am so glad that I was able to know her.
She made a truly positive impact on my life and I will remember her always.

    The second son
    Michael
