August 27, 1972 – Calgary, AB
June 19, 2013 – Calgary, AB
We are very sad to let you know that our beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, auntie and great friend and colleague passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
Janine’s strength, kindness, and zest for living is a wonderful example to everyone who was blessed to know her. Janine was a dedicated and loving wife of Darren Harris and devoted and loving mother to Jeremy and Rachel. Her spirit and absolute love of outdoor adventures will remain with her children forever. Janine will be greatly missed by her mother Anne and father Jim who will miss her big laugh and the spirit that she brought to everything she did.
Janine is survived by her beloved grandmother Marie (Bill) and her very close brother Darren (Diane) and nephews Ethan and Justin. We remember the many laughs, family gatherings and camping trips together. She is also survived by brother Bill (Marg) and their children Megan and Daniel, and her in-laws, Mel and Carolyn Harris and their family.
Janine was born in Calgary on August 27th, 1972 and everyone knew from early on that Janine was a special, strong and spirited girl. She attended High School and College in Calgary. She loved her dear friends Jana, Judit and Helene, and was very happy with her new position at AHS. Janine was blessed by her sister-in-law Corinne who flew out from Montreal to help. She fought hard and well. She will be missed by all who loved her.
