Condolence Messages

  1. Donald J. Stewart :

I wish to express my condolences to Jean and her family and to Muriel on the sad passing of George of whom I have many memories. The last time I saw George with his friend Frank McCormick was at the visitation for my mother in February 1994. In our teens the three of us were in Miss Huddell’s Sunday school class. Sincerely, Don Stewart

Dear Jean: It is with deep regret that we find we are unable to attend the service that you and your family have arranged for George, but our thoughts have been with you ever since we heard of his passing. Our prayers are with you also due to your recent fall and pray that you will soon heal both physically and emotionally and be able to come back to Beverly and visit with us. Please accept our condolences to you and your family. Bill and Eunice.

    Dear Auntie Jean and Cousins,

I have so many fond memories of Uncle George. It seems like yesterday we were little kids eating family holiday dinners in Montreal. Especially remember Auntie Jean’s ham dinners and delicious scalloped potatoes with a teasing Uncle George taking on the role of chief bottle washer after the big meal. Oh, and his great big bear hugs were a very special treat.

My love to all of you. Wish we could be there.

    Dear Jean,
Last night, while packing some boxes for our move from Milton to Grand Bend, I discovered “The Friendship Book 1992”. Needing something to read, I noted the inscription was “To Marion, with much love, Jean and George, Christmas 1991.” Wondering how you two were doing, I was so sad to hear today than George had died this week. My thoughts are with you and the family as you share this time of sadness.
