Nick Hanzuk, of Calgary, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the age of 80 years.
Nick was born in the district of Wasel located twenty miles east of Smokey Lake, Alberta. As a child, he lived on the family farm in the rural community area of Dickie Bush. In 1951, Nick moved to Edmonton where he married Gail Weiss and raised his family. In 1969, he moved his family to Calgary where he continued to live until his passing.
Nick is survived by two brothers Harry and Steve; three sisters, Catherine, Ann (Ellis) and Mary; two daughters Bonney (Barry) and Marcy (Dean); three sons, Terry, Ronney and Wesley (Lisa); grandchildren, Justin, Tasha, Brittany, Twyla (Chris), Holly (Mike), Nicholas, Nathan and Amanda; as well as great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alex and Mila. He was predeceased by his parents John and Helen, sister Eleanor, brother Metro, and son Bradley.
