Hammond, Lucille

Lucille Hammond, beloved wife of Germain Hammond of Calgary, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008 at the age of 67 years.
Lucille was born on August 31, 1940 in St. Fabien, Cté. Rimouski, PQ. Germain and Lucille were married on November 11, 1975. They moved to Revelstoke BC in 1976, and relocated to Calgary in 1980. She was a member of the Société Franco Canadienne, Dame de Sainte-Famille, and Club de L’amitié (Calgary). Lucille also did many charitable works within her church community of RC Paroisse Sainte-Famille, of which she was a long time member. Her hobbies included oil painting, crocheting and knitting.
Besides her loving husband Germain, Lucille is survived by her mother Blanche-Alice Brillant; brothers Fernand (Jocelyne Boivin) and Lauréat; sisters Madeleine (Rodrigue Beaulieu) and Roseanne; nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She was predeceased by her father Mathias Brillant.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Famille Catholic Church (1719 – 5th Street SW) on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Famille Catholic Church on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Forward condolences through
