In Calgary she grew up, got married and had 4 daughters, who will miss her profoundly: Cindy (Tim) Down, Tracy (Greg) Bussing, Tammy (Ron) Dodd, Holly (Bruno) Milanko. In addition to being the most amazing mother, she was also a loving, caring and supportive grandmother who was extremely proud of all of her grandchildren: Lindsay (Ted), Melissa, Kristy (Kellen), Brooke (Derek), Danielle, Samantha, Siena, Ryan and Brandon also great-grandson Devon. Millie also leaves behind her companion of over 25 years, Eric Nissen and her devoted and much loved sister, Mary Boettcher, her lifelong friends, Sheila Lundmark and Erwin & Anna Boegershausen. As Millie was one of 14 children, she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Millie was predeceased by her parents, Rachel and Harry Hall, and 12 siblings. Millie loved to socialize and entertain family and friends. She was an avid golfer and a Flames Fan. Millie and Eric were very fortunate to have had over 25 years together enjoying family, friends and many winter breaks in Phoenix, Arizona & Laughlin, Nevada. Millie was an example to all of us on how to live life to its fullest; she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion and wisdom. Millie was a beautiful person who always looked for the good in others.

My deepest heart felt condolences to the Krassman and Hall families. Millie was always a blast to be around when I was growing up. I have such fond memories of her and all the wonderful family members who made me feel at home when ever I visited. Sunday dinners at Lake Haven Ranch were my favorite memories.

It has been a long time since your crew and our crew hung together on Lake Court.

On behalf of all the Nunn’s we wanted to say we were sorry to read your Mom had passed. Mom and Dad are still on Lake Court and they wanted to say how special and how well liked they still regarded your Mom.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time.

  6. Millie was probably the most positive and kind person I ever met. I never heard an unkind or snide or negative comment about anyone. We shared many good times – golf, happy hours, “shopping” trips, dinners, and a few trips. Always there was much laughter.
    I will miss her.

  7. I had the pleasure of playing golf with Millie for a number of years and she will be missed. I know that she’s probably swing the clubs with the big guy as I write this. God Bless.
