HALL, Dale “Halsy”

May 16, 1962 – July 8, 2013

Dale Hall, beloved husband of Shelley of Calgary, passed away suddenly at home, surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the age of 51 years, after a short but courageous battle with lung disease.

Dale was born and raised a proud Calgarian where for the past 33 years he worked at Canadian Pacific Railway. Dale was known for his generosity and offered help to anyone who asked. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Shelley of 22 years and his loving son’s Joshua and Jordan. Also to mourn his loss are his brothers John (Tania) and Terry as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We will all miss his big smile, awesome Barbequing skills and his famous homemade chicken wings. Dale’s first passion was bowling and he had an amazing love for The Stampeders, The Flames, beer and “pocket dogs”.

A Celebration of Dale’s Life will be held at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

In living memory of Dale Hall, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek Chapel, 14441 BANNISTER ROAD S.E. Telephone: (403) 256-9575.

  16. I knew Dale from working with him at CP Rail. Dale was always ready to help his work mates and was a great employee. I came to find out that Dale lived in the same trailer park that my father lived so I would see Dale often. I will miss our chats. My thoughts and prayers go out to Dale’s family.
