He played with such enthusiam and never complained when I did not give him much support on defence! Danny approached his work with the same enthusiam and he will be sorely missed at Canadian Pacific.

  10. My condolences to your family. Danny was a great man. I met him when he first trained me in customer service at Canadian Pacific Railway 14 years ago. He was fun loving with a great sense of humour. He always had a smile. What really struck me, was his love of his family. Danny was so proud of his kids. They mean the world to him. Teresa was everything to him too. It was such a lovely thing to see.

His passing is truly a loss to the community.

  14. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Danny in customer service. I was one of the managers who interviewed Danny when he was first looking to join CP. I was always proud to see that whatever department or role Danny worked in at CP, he had success. I have two boys (aged 10 and 13). I want you to know that your Dad was a very good employee who was smart, well liked, and worked hard. I know you will miss him very very badly and I am so sorry for that. I just thought that it was important that you know Danny was a great guy. I am glad he was in my life, even if it was for far too short a time.

Dear Teresa, chidren, Irma, Manon and all of you, Danny’s beloving family.

I am very sadenned to hear about your loss. I haven’t had the chance to meet Mr Danny but he seems, on his picture, to have been someone very, very kind of a person.

He was only 47. This is way too young to go. This must be very hard to all of you, especially Teresa whom I met a few times as I would attend my violin lessons, as a teen, on Atlantic avenue in the basement with very-regretted Marcel, my high school teacher at the time, who was also an amazing man that everyone had to know.

I’m persuaded that Marcel must have loved Danny quite a lot and must have been very proud to be Danny’s father in law. I’m sure he is right there, on time as usual, to open his arms opened wide to welcome your husband Danny Teresa, and dad, children.

I wish I could be with you in these hard times. As you requested, I pledge to contribute for the research on ALS in his honour.

Thank you to Manon for informing me of this sad news.

I will pray for all of you.

May God be there in your hearts, in this time of distress.
