Karl Guderyan, beloved husband of Pat Guderyan, passed away on February 16, 2015 at the age of 85 years.
Besides his loving wife of sixty-three years, Karl is survived by his eight children, Beverly Hancock (Ted), Brian, Kevin, Ellen, Greg (Jody), Shelagh Dilney (John), Karl (Laurie) and John (Lisa) along with ten grandchildren, Geoffrey (Louise), William, and Jane Hancock, Simone and Brittany Guderyan, Rueben and Bella Guderyan, Sydney Guderyan, Victoria and Grace Guderyan as well as three great-grandchildren, Emilie, Annike and Emmett Hancock.
Karl was a senior executive in the propane business until his retirement in 1998. He loved his work and was very well respected in the business community for his integrity, strong work ethic and honesty. Karl was a devoted and loving husband and father whose wife, children and large extended family, were central to his world. His unconditional love and support, along with his positive ’can do’ attitude, will remain with us forever. He taught us well.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Friday, February 20 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
