Grobowsky, William Delbert (Del)

William Delbert (Del) Grobowsky, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at the age of 49 years.

Del is survived by a daughter Cindy (and her daughters Elizabeth and Christina); two sons, Vince and Stephan, and his wife Judy. He is also survived by his son Melvin; sister Lillian (Brian), and her children Jim (Carrie) and Katherine; sister Leigh Lawson; and brother Barry (Anne) Ross. Del was predeceased by his parents Bill and Mae, and an infant sister Margaret Lorraine.

Memorial Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, (18 Hidden Creek Road N.W.) on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. R. H. Grant Rodgers officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Services, 1305 – 11th Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB, T3C 3P5.     It has been almost 10 years since my daddy has passed, and I think about him all the time. I celebrate his birthday every year. I am most of all so glad he got to meet his wonderful granddaughters Elizabeth and Kristina. Dad, I know you aren’t here physically, but you are here watching over me and the girls and you are always in my thoughts. There are so many things I’d love the chance to talk to you about, but I know you are always guiding your little girl in the right direction even if it doesn’t make sense to me at the time. I am so glad that you were a part of my life. I LOVE YOU DADDY!
