Please accept my sincerest condolences on the death of Mary. I have and will continue to have many fond memories of Mary during our time together at the Department of Political Science at the University of Calgary.
To say the leasst she ran a tight ship with some of us Professors, keeping us to the tasks at hand and preventing us from wandering too far astray (i.e. keeping us humble). At the same time her wit and personality contributed to a genial working environment.
Several of us professors kept in touch with her after her retirement and she remained a treasured friend.
    WE will miss her.

    Stan Drabek

Just found out about Mary’s death. We haven’t forgotten her welcoming us in when we came by unexpectedly on our trip out West many years ago. We’re glad you got to live in the same area as your mother for a good length of time.

Robert’s mother died on January 7th so, although we can’t say we know how you feel, we have some idea. Our condolences to you, Ian and Sharron, to Andrew and Angela, and to your extended family.
