  3. Ah Nick, the stories you told us! You should have written a book about your time in Hongkong, your detective adventures and the saucy secrets you shared with us about celebrities that crossed your path along the way. I first met Nick and Marg in 1962 when they took me to my first CFL game – my husband Don was a player with the Saskatchewan Riders – he explained this strange game to me, because I thought that Don was not very good – he was always on the ground! Nick laughed his boisterous laugh – ” That’s his job, Sylvia!”
Nick was an original! Over the years we broke bread
often and enjoyed Marg’s great cooking. The last time I saw Nick was in 2006 – the year my Don passed away. By that time he was an expert informant on the latest “Hit TV shows.”
I will always fondly remember the great sense of humour of our friend Nick, the big Irish
teddy-bear. Now Nick, you can shoot the breeze with my Don at the pearly-gates. We have our memories and they are locked in our hearts forever.

Love and hugs for you Marg and Leigh-Anne

Your friend always, Sylvia and family

Dear Marg & Leigh-Anne – I did not know Nick’s wife & daughter but & I met & knew Nick through our mutual fascination with casino gambling. The last time my wife & I met Nick was at the Stampede Casino where we spent a good hour having very pleasant conversation. Nick was a delight to talk to & be around.
